Fluvanna Youth Soccer Association

Mission

Fluvanna Youth Soccer Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing the culture of soccer in Central Virginia. Since it’s infancy in 1999, we have grown to become a predominant youth soccer association within Central Virginia with more than 1000 registered players annually.  We will continue to grow and provide soccer opportunities to those areas traditionally underserved in the Central Virginia area.

Vision

• We look to expand soccer opportunities to areas that are traditionally underserved, principally those who live in the rural areas of Central Virginia.

• We strive to develop players at all levels of play by building and improving their skills, confidence, fitness, initiative and a sense of teamwork.

• We promote FUN and encourage high standards of sportsmanship and fair play.

• We work to build a community that supports the growth and development of all players, our club, and the game.

Operating Principles

• Provide a fun, kid-centered environment for learning soccer

• Consistently provide a wide range of opportunities for all kids to play soccer and improve overall soccer skills.

• Provide the best soccer instruction possible for the lowest possible cost for the player and their families.

• We will be organized, planful, and always strive to improve all aspects of our programs and interactions with the larger community.
