Soccer Mastery Program
10/29/17 - Cancelled Due to Wet Conditions
Following on the success of our growing Academy program, we will be offering additional opportunities for more competitive play at the U8 and U10 age groups. Starting the week of September 18th and occurring every week for six to eight weeks we will be holding additional training sessions geared for U8 and U10 players (FREE!). These sessions will offer these young players an additional weekly soccer practice to focus on key technical fundamentals, and a chance to participate in friendly, but more challenging matches with other players within our league and possibly some other clubs. Please come out as we want to improve the skills of this budding soccer community as a whole!
Who: Any registered FYSA U8 and U10 player looking to improve their soccer skills and looking for more competitive play
Where: Pleasant Grove Fields
When: Fifth Session is Sunday October 29th 5:00-6:30 pm
What to Bring: size 4 Ball, Cleats, Shin Guards, and plenty of energy and fluids
What will Occur: Drills to help improve ball control and touch, overall soccer technique and to develop deeper understanding of the game.
We will use this additional practice time to garner interest and select a group of players to participate in friendly matches against other kids within our league seeking more competitive play and possibly participate in games against teams from other clubs in the Central Virginia area.
